Manage Contexts
The "Manage Context" function in our platform is designed to give you control over the translation process, ensuring each string is accurately translated according to the specific context of your project.
Accessing Manage Context
Find the 'Manage Context' button on the main translation interface to start customizing your project's translation preferences.
Two kinds of Context
Providing Specific Translations
Utilize the 'Provide Specific Translations' tab to dictate exact translations for certain terms, ensuring consistency across different languages.
How to add specific translations?
To specify translations for a term, type it into the input box and click 'Add'.
Then, in the expanded card, select your target language, enter the translation, and confirm by clicking 'Done'.
This allows you to set specific translations for multiple languages for a single term, or add multiple terms each with its designated translations.
Keeping Terms Unchanged
Under the 'Keep Terms Unchanged' tab, you can list terms that should remain the same across all languages, like brand names or technical terms, to maintain global recognition and technical integrity.
How to add unchanged terms?
To keep terms unchanged across all languages, simply enter the term in the input box and click 'Add'. The term will then appear in the list below.
If you need to remove a term, you can do so by clicking the 'x' next to it.
Reviewing and Saving
Review your listed terms to make sure they are correct and hit 'Save' to apply these preferences to your project, enhancing the accuracy and relevance of your translations.
Notes: Enjoy a limited-time offer where setting contexts incurs no additional credit charges. This feature is designed to enhance the accuracy of your translations without extra cost.
